That article doesn't really provide any information, other than saying that the police are accusing her of kidnapping her children. No proof or any reasoning on there as to why it's the mom.

From what I remember when the case was in the media at the time, the thought was that she arranged for the child to be kidnapped so she could garner public sympathy and money in the same way that the McCann's had, though the money ther was in a trust fund etc.

There were also obscene images of children found on the computer of the guy she allegedly arranged the kidnap with.
