  • Let's Make Britain Kinky (NSFW)

A court in England has overturned a ban that prevented certain pornography from being produced in the country. These acts can be produced as long as the production is safe, consensual, and is unlikely to be viewed by people under the age of 18.

Good news, you pervy wankers, you now can see English people getting tied up and spanked.
Corey Taylor is correct. Man is a "four letter word."

How does female ejaculation get grouped with that?

And face-sitting? A lot of these feel very arbitrary, like someone went through a list of fetishes and made an X every time they thought, "Well, nobody could possibly enjoy THAT!"

I particularly like how the lifting of the ban is contingent on every participant explicitly consenting - like that isn't a condition for any kind of porn production?

Consent is critical in the porn industry. You'd be surprised how many production crew members have been fired because of sexual harassment.

That’s what I meant - any porn production requires consent, not just the “kinky” ones.

I think it's more to cut off someone claiming they were "just making a porno" if they got caught when someone's not consenting. Basically, while they'd be lying anyway, it's better not to have the argument in the first place.

Sorry, not following... why would it be an excuse to be making a porno with someone who is not consenting?

Rape fantasy is a real thing, and many aspects of BDSM often look non-consensual to vanilla observers. That's why safewords exist.

I saw a video of a guy tying up his wife, and she kept saying "No" to the gag he put in her mouth. Someone objected to this and was set straight by the responses.

Do not get a cheap rubber ball gag. They smell bad and taste worse.

I get that - everything is part of the fantasy until they say, "Apples". What I don't get is how making a porno could be used as an excuse when someone actually isn't consenting. That's where I'm stuck.

It's not. But without it being explicitly excluded from the legalisation, some asshole might make the claim that the law legalises it if it's for a porno. Thus, by including it in the law itself it makes it clearer that no, it isn't acceptable.

That, and IIRC in the UK, if a judgement is blatantly erroneous then a not guilty verdict can be vacated (I say blatantly since Double Jeopardy still applies in general- it's just that there are edge cases when it doesn't- and it's controversial at best) and the judgement specifically violating an explicit provision of the law in question should count, so even if the judge is drunk (or corrupt) and lets the asshole off, they don't necessarily get away with it.

Ahhh, now I get, where you're coming from, thanks. Was a bit slow on the uptake there.
