  • What the heck ...

Friend of mine has political views that are the polar opposite of mine. She appears to have arranged her FB page so I no longer see her political stuff (fine by me; it has driven enough of a wedge between us as it is), and I, who am too lazy to figure out all the intricacies of FB, just don't "share" political stuff at all, except for local stuff, which is of zero interest to her as she doesn't live anywhere near me.

Then I got a friend invite from a friend of hers. Hmmm ... okay.

    I accepted it.

Now I'm getting two more from two other friends of hers ..

Seriously, WHY are these people suddenly trying to friend me??

My guess is that because of the way she reorganized her feed your posts show up there more often and people like what you have to say.

You may be right, but if so, it's odd, given the polar oppositeness (is that a word? If not, it should be ) of our views -- I'm assuming her views (and not mine) are shared by her friends.

Ah well. I've not run into any major problems accepting friend invites and at least these are coming via somebody I already know.
