What she is doing didn't work when people did it about interracial marriage. It won't work now either.

Can't say I'm surprised. Everyone knew this would be coming.

To be fair, WBC AREN'T saying that she's wrong to refuse to issue same-sex marriage licenses. They're merely saying that she isn't following her religion properly.(their argument is that since ( in their view) God doesn't recognise divorce, then her subsequent marriages after her first are invalid, and so she is living in sin. It's notable that,if I understand the dogma correctly, the Catholic Church actually agrees on that point.)

in short: panic over, the WBC are still a bunch of idiotic bigots.

Ok, good. I'm not the only one who got that feeling. The world is scarring me.

except after the recent debacles gofundme changed their rules, her account was removed(It had only gotten $2).

So she has nothing but a record.

Aye, but she chose one that does.

I saw it better described than I did elsewhere, when someone said that if you told a lie once when you, when a parent you can still tell your children not to lie.

She reminds me of Quark who tried to take a stand against the sweeping for-the-better changes in Ferengi society in the last few episodes of DS9.

    She looks just as foolish...

Her lawyer just Godwin'd the case:

Citing attorney-client privilege, Staver, the founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, who has likened acceptance of the Supreme Court’s gay marriage decision to turning over a Jew to the Nazis, refused to say what advice he gave Davis, who was jailed Thursday for contempt of court.
Yes, totally the same thing. You twunt.

Staver compared his client, without apparent irony, to “people who today we admire, like Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Jan Huss, John Bunyan, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and more.”
    Argh. >.>

See, this is where we start seeing how her argument fails. Because not all Christian groups teach that same dogma.
