Wow. So all those years I spent in a haze...they don't count because I didn't pay for most of it?

    That's awesome.

Interesting brand of 'special' right there, Irv. It's a wonder he was able to feed and clothe himself, let alone manage to toke up without putting an eye out.

This reminds me of the lazy slug I used to have working with me in the backroom. He was a pothead, and everybody knew it, but to him he wasn't a pothead because he only did pot "that one time."

Or you can be like my bf who smokes cigarettes when he goes back home and goes on Charlie Sheen-like drinking benders, or even just out and about for a few drinks, but he doesn't habitually smoke like after a meal or when he gets up or even really at home at all.

He loudly goes around proclaiming that he doesn't smoke and acts like a prick if I dare light up around him, in fact he has told me to leave if I was going to smoke (!!!), but he's gone back home to party and came back kicking and whining that he smoked while he drank and it's hurt his throat. "But I'm not a smoker!"

Ah yeah, and he's "allowed" to smoke because he can "control" it, but I really need to quit because I still habitually smoke, and I can't "control" it, so I need to stop.

The alcoholic telling the smoker that they need to stop. Isn't he so funny?

She doesn't smoke at all. Not to mention she's gorgeous and funny and awesome, too - so I joke with her (but it's true) as to what she sees in him. Other than him being extremely good looking physically still, I really don't understand. I think she could do better.

In his defense, he is one of the only potheads I've ever known who is the true definition of a workaholic.

See, back in my teens and 20s I was into the drug thing too, but I grew up and wanted a better life for my kids. Although we never did anything in front of them, they were getting older and wiser and I'd felt guilty for a long time about it.

So I decided I'd had enough of the lifestyle. He didn't agree. That wasn't the only reason it ended, but it was the biggest part.

    Tasty, tasty murder

I don't somke and when I was five, I'm hazy on parts of it but my brother is older and remembered more, we had to stay round a neighbours when my mum went to her dad's funeral and our dad was away in the army. Turns out she stuck a lit cig in our mouths and made us smoke it, I never fancied taking up the habbit although I have had the odd cig here and there when rat arsed.
My brother on the other hand smokes and some times does weed, he used to wear the same fleese each time and my mum's tom cat used to love curling up on his lap inhaling any lingering aroma's.

His dog also wolfed down a hash brownie his mate had left behind by accident, he videoed the dog, he looked just as gormless as normal to me, but apparantly he was well monged.

Is that with straight papers or with blunt wraps? I've never really gotten a sweet sort of feel when around smokers, but the guys who smoke blunts smell gross.

Then again, I despise cigars, too. They also make we want to hurl.

And, in the spirit of the OP: "Oh, I don't smoke. Just a pipe/cigar once in a while." 9.9

People may call me crazy, but I love the smell of matches. I think it reminds me of childhood camping trips.

The major difference is that with cigarette smokers, the smell of nicotine is actually coming from inside their bodies, not from outside. THC doesn't react the same way, so you can wash the smell off.

I hate the smell of matches myself. Coffee smells good to me, but doesn't taste good.

Unless someone is an extreme pot-head, you usually can't smell them as much as you can smell a cigarette smoker. Pot smoke tends to linger in rooms or cars, but it doesn't attach and refuse to go away like cigarette smoke, unless you smoke pot all day every day.

Beauty's in the eye, and all that. The smell of coffee makes me want to vomit.

I have no problem with the smell of pot. Now, the flavored blunt wraps that are popular are a totally different matter. For the most part, they induce the same reaction in me as coffee. And since I also hate the smell of burning matches, I have a butane lighter for my candles.

He is 44 years old and still smokes. Every.single.day.

Yet, ask him if he uses drugs. Anyone care to guess as to what his reply is?

Oh, and his current girlfriend is a cop.

My bf is 51 years old and smokes it every damn day which means I gotta deal with the smell which I HATE. He's dependent on it and I don't like it at all. Yet if i light a match to light a candle he bitches that that stinks....REALLY???? Its way better than that ass smelling shit you're smoking.

The last time I checked, fish was still considered a meat. Isn't it still a meat? It's dead animal flesh....not sure what else to call it.

It's a little odd, but it's because too many people equate "vegetarian" with "vegan". Vegetarians will have animal products (milk and eggs for example) and seafood, while vegans is strict fruits, vegetables, and grains.

Admittedly, the simpsons episode where Lisa declared herself to be a vegetarian didn't help matters, because she met a group of vegans who were calling themselves vegetarians.
