Britney Spears' little sister is pregnant at the age of 16. Who wants to bet when the "experts" are going to come out and try to blame Ms. Spears for the upswing of out-of-wedlock/teen pregnancy numbers?

I'm slightly amused about the media reaction to the antics of the Spears family.

Questions like, "Is Britney mentally unbalanced? Why isn't she wearing underwear? How can anyone be so neglectful of their children? She must be suffering from some sort of mental illness!"

Right. Mental illness. Apparently, the Hollywood media haven't heard of the concept of "trailer trash".

The rest of America is just shrugging their shoulders and thinking, "Of course she's not wearing underwear. Of course she's neglecting her children. Everyone knows a few people like that. Hell, if Sally the Town Slut could sing, she'd be in the news, too."

So sure, her sister is unwed and pregnant at 16. Is anyone really surprised?

Lynn Spears' only claim to celebrity is that she gave birth to and raised both Britney and Jamie Lynn. That's it.

Jamie Lynn is Britney Spears' little sister and is the star of the show "Zoey 101" (I tihnk that's the show's title) on the Nickelodeon channel here in the United States.

With Britney doing spreads for magazines like Esquire, rocking out with drugs, knocked up 3 times and already divorced twice...what do you expect her sister to be like?

Her parents certainly haven't learned how not to fuck up their kids, and pushed number 2 out to the spotlight as soon as they could make a buck off of her.

That family should serve as a warning to others...

That's exactly what I think Nickelodeon should do with the whole train wreck... turn it into a chance to do something educational (and, at least according to what I read earlier today, they are taking those steps).

I figure that the only reason that kid is famous is because she is a younger carbon copy of her sister.


Ugh...a few years back, some network did an interview with Britney Spears... with an 8th grade education level...what do you think happens? I'm sure little time was spent insuring her sister got educated...seeing as the parents couldn't be bothered to educate their first kid.

I do hope things turn out better for Jamie Lynne than they did for Britney...she seems to want to take responsibility... let's keep our fingers crossed that she learns rather than being a repeat fuck up.

Wow, that pic in the article shows just how much alike Britney and her sister look.
However, I don't trust Dr. Phil, mostly because he's a fat man trying to tell people how to get skinny at times. Look, dude, work on yourself, first. Then move on to others.
