Thoughts, opinions and ideas, people: what are your gripes, daydreams or passions regarding the global economy? How does it affect your country? Has an important market dried up? Is someone dumping stuff around you? Has McDonalds (or some other scapegoat Big Multinational Company) been out-competing your local favourite shops?

The term global economy usually refers to the expansion of economies over borders due to transnational corporations and free trade, and usually implies a weakening of national sovereignty in dealing with economic issues.

Perhaps this thread should be called "Economies outside the US".
