That's not true at all. Draft boards in World War II were fully staffed with members of the military. Wounded soldiers often served on the boards while they were recovering, as well as other enlisted men who were incapable of serving at the front for various reasons. Anyone not in fighting condition but still ready and able to serve would help. There were plenty of military paper-pushers available for jobs like these.

but as i also said.... the real reason he was complaining was because he just didn't want to go.
and that if the reviewers were all men instead of 8 men & 4 women then he'd have found another factor to complain about. he'd have used their ages or their race/heritage as a basis of the complaint.
i honestly don't think he cared at all that 4 of the people on the review board were females. he just used it as a means to justify his own anger at the fact they dare drafted *him* and not someone else.

And if you'll note, in the explanation post, I was the only person noted as saying we didn't know how they voted, so obviously he was just bitching.Originally posted by PepperElf View Postbut as i also said.... the real reason he was complaining was because he just didn't want to go.
Any comment I make should not be taken as an absolute, unless I say it should be. Even this one.
