I think people are/were panicking because they all have such 'fond' memories of the Petrol Crisis back in 2000.

I remember that; also, having to put super in my motorbike cuz the petrol station had just the super pump running and no unleaded or diesel. I wasn't working in the petrol station then so I didn't have to deal with any fuckery. I'm hoping it'll all have calmed down by tomorrow when I'm back to work. XD
