A Subway franchise gave $2500 to support Proposition 8 in California. Subway corporate responded by repudiating the gift, giving the same amount to the other side, and modifying their anti-discrimination policy accordingly.

Looks like a footlong's in my future, as well as a note of thanks to Subway.

damn, and if you read the comments there's one about Denny's being on the list of companies that donated to yes on 8... they aren't the best of restaurants anyway, but they are one of the few that open 24/7 in this city.
