The thing that bugs me about all this is that they think that acting like this will make you want to come back. I've never known shame to be a very effective way to make people want to do anything. This is why I hate people.
I'm LDS myself, but the people in the organization really have a way of fouling it up. (I am full of rants about how the place seems to be swimming in jerks.) They should have taken the letter and not been such total jerks about it.
