Also, you need to look up what constitutes a rebel, as you seem to be confused. Just cuz someone is a criminal, does not mean they are not being rebellious. I picked the women on my list CUZ THEY WENT AGAINST SOCIETY. Society of the time. Joan of Arc wore men's clothing, and fought as a soldier. She also claimed to hear voices. Elizabeth van Lew was one of several women who rebelled against society by fighting in the Civil War; at that point in time, it was hardly a usual thing for women to do.
