Women in lingerie playing football...how on EARTH does that work?

The lesbian side of me says, "Oooh, thst be hot to watch."

The more reasonable side of me says, "Is it full on football? Or is it a softer version cause of there being lack of protective gear."

Also, if the women volunteered to do it, how is that degrading them? Porn does a worse job than that and its still around.

I'm thinking football as in soccer hence the less need of padding, plus I have no idea if American Football even has a womens team in any league, yet soccer does.

We have something in my old HS that was called "Powder Puff Football" Basically it was 99% cheerleaders (rest were friends of the cheerleaders) being coached by the footbal players to play flag football. It was too funny to watch cause they were your stereotypical cheerleaders.

I amm really curious to watch lingerie football to see what it entails.

Generally speaking, depending on your fetish, porn doesn't ALWAYS degrade women

And the "degrading" argument comes from the fact that in order for people to actually ATTEND certain sports being played by women, they somehow need to be wearing nothing but a bikini. How many sports involve male model-esque guys being paraded around in their jockstraps? (sumo wrestling does not count simply because the idea of "lingerie" football is that the women wear lingerie, not that women are playing football.)

Also, I suspect that if the women were all muscular, beefed-up women who may have a little bit of flab on their stomachs, then they would be labelled "ugly" and nobody would attend. Yet a guy can be sweaty and hairy and nobody would care.

The LFL has been going for quite some time now actually. It's basically just arena football with women in underwear. It's alright.

It started off as a superbowl half time show that is trying to be a legitimate sports league. I say trying because half of the "game" is the girls trying to show off. High school football teams play better than them.

As for the lingerie aspect, it's not like Victoria secrets models in lacy under things playing in the mud. It's closer to beach volleyball, where the girls are more athletic builds, the "lingerie" is sport tops and short shorts, and though it is full contact, It's about as hard hitting as a junior high school no padding match up (aka just slightly above flag football).

If you get off of beach volleyball I can see the appeal, but I see it as trying to be two things at once (a legitimate sport and a borderline peep show) and failing in both.
