I read about this.
It's sad that so many people view other people as nothing more than things to be used and disposed of.
The woman was murdered by her mother in law, and the MIL's cousin. Apparently, the husband and father in law were not involved.Good news! Your insurance company says they'll cover you. Unfortunately, they also say it will be with dirt.

We REALLY need to look at ourselves and realize we are not in the place to demand people change. I'm sure they feel as strong about beating their women as I do about owning my guns, it is how it has always been and I'll be damned if some foreign entity going to come to my country and tell me what I'm doing. Personally, we need to cut off aid to half the countries we are helping that do shit we don't like because that would be about the only way to get them to change. Also would save us billions

We aren't in Afghanistan to making them more like America. We went there to kill the Taliban out and were there to keep them from returning to power. I prefer terrorist organizations don't run a whole country, raising them funds to commit acts of terror against my country or other countries that I like.Originally posted by insertNameHere View PostWe REALLY need to look at ourselves and realize we are not in the place to demand people change. Sadly I suspect that the Republicans are HUGE proponents of the democratic peace theory. Basically, the idea is that democracies do not fight each other. By creating a democracy in the country, they don't need to be allies per se, but it just means one less enemy for the USA.Originally posted by Dreamstalker View PostI've been hearing (mostly from Republicans) that we're now there to 'bring democracy'. I don't think they want it.
There were two other theories that occurred during a lecture about this...one of them involved a friend of mine, another student, two rulers and some cups of noodles.
