    I'll give you credit for the car keys and laptop, but come on. That's like saying women shouldn't wear revealing clothing and not expect to get treated like a slut, and possibly raped or minorities shouldn't go through white neighborhoods and not expect to be hassled by the cops.

    If he was hassled at the game itself, that's a little more acceptable. It comes with the turf. But in a restaurant? There's no justification for it all in the slightest.

      What I'm saying is that if you go to a bar that is in the territory of the opposing team, you're going to raise the probability that you will be heckled for doing so.

      It isn't right that it should happen any more than it's right for to someone to lose their personal property. It isn't right that they should be asked to leave because the other guys are being assholes.

      But life isn't fair, and until the entire race (or the majority, at least) reaches enlightenment, it is up to us to secure our own surroundings to the degree that we are able to protect against the douchebaggery and aggression of others.
