It is obviously sticking to the letter of the law and ignoring the spirit of it, but that's what the high court is supposed to do. >_< They enforce the laws as written, not as they ought to be written.

I rather think the blame should lie with the original prosecutor. Surely there was some better statute to charge the guy under.

I'd be interested in knowing what Massachussets law has to say about women, on finding out someone is taking upskirts shots, stuffing the camera up the perp's ass.

My mom has said that any and all bystanders/witnesses who wish to should be legally allowed to beat the shit out of the perp (but not kill him) and give the cops whatever is left.
