There is also the fact that Toronto has a fairly large Jewish population; if she went on-and-on about how Muslims are accommodated for their prayer needs but not religious Jews (who pray 3 times a day), this focus on only the Muslims could have been construed as racist against Jews, especially if there were obviously religious Jews in the group...I'm having trouble understanding it, as a Jew myself - I'd be more put-off and not complaining of racism, but maybe that is what was going on.

Maybe that particular one isn't mentioned because it was never brought to her attention. I didn't know that Jews needed three prayer times during the day. I did know about the Muslim one because of a ex roommate.
