    Actually they were asked about why they didn't and they responded that they felt there was too much pain and anguish out there and plenty of people covering it they wanted to give people a safe haven where it didn't happen where they could forget about the world's troubles and just have fun.

      A few weeks ago, we had some severe weather on a Friday. The local news stations broke in and continued all freaking night!!!! Yes, from 7 pm until the local news started at 10. I can understand the weather map in the corner of the tv with updates scrolling at the bottom of the tv, but continuous blathering about the severe weather for 3 hours?
