Every time I go to wikipedia and click on the search bar, it pops up with all kinds of porn shit. "Rape mature handcuffed women" or "gigantic black cocks" or "bbw teens big tits hot sex" stuff. This is the only website it does it to, and I can't seem to figure out in the options how to make this shit go away.

One could say "stop looking at porn!" but I rarely do anyway, and when I have looked at porn I've never searched for the shit I'm seeing. WTF!?!?!?!?

Tried running malware or spyware removal tools lately?

Does someone else use the computer?

That's what I was going to suggest.

Lavasoft's Ad-Aware and SpyBot are two I highly recommend. As for cleaning out the PC - CCCleaner and CleanCache 3.0 are great (CCCleaner is more thorough but not as easy to learn as CleanCache).

Everyone else pretty much beat me to it. Sounds like it's some of the less dangerous stuff, though. (Off the record, I'm really starting to hate that fake Antivirus XP shit at this point. I'm up to three computers I've had to remove that from now.)

Personally, I use both Spybot and MalwareBytes Anti-Malware to check for spyware, then Ace Utilities' wizard for clean-up.

I use malwarebytes a lot. Scan almost every day with it. Other people sometimes use the computer, but none of them would be looking up porn on it, especially not on wikipedia.

Oh christ yes, I've had to kill the Vista version on my computer about 5 times now.

They don't have to. Some malware comes through adverts. If it's what we think it is, it's trying to send you to porn links on a popular website. Social engineering.

Suggest looking up other malware cleaners on the tech help section of cs.com.
