Here are some examples of what I'm referring to:
http://www.icedesign.com.au/apparel/onesie-en.html
http://search.supre.com.au/clothes/Onesie
The other store I initially had on the list at least marketed them as "for in the house only" type thing.
And the one store that I still hold a modicum of respect for in terms of "young" clothing, doesn't sell them.
ETA: And before anyone gets on me about jumpsuits/playsuits, generally with those two, they are generally cut to look less romper-like. From a distance, you'd just think that it was a black top and shorts/pants with a belt in the middle.
Another trend I've noticed lately as well: ombre. Now this one pisses me off a bit. Mostly because it just looks lazy. To me, it also looks like people went out, got the right hair colour (the whole 2 shades lighter/darker thing) and now it's just growing back.
Also, since when did dip-dye become "ombre?"

They had all 4 turtles in stock, but in child sizes, well not sure if child size is right, but more the 4 foot age bracket whatever age that is, they looked 4 foot without measuring them.
I had plans to make a teletubby costume with a DVD playing something like guinea pig (damn you redlines you didn't even have it as a correction when all I did was miss the a off FFS) or the broken movie and have my antei be a dildo.

For some reason nearly EVERY. DAMN. CLOTHING. STORE down here is selling them in some shape or form. Some are meant to be "fashionable"/costumey, but the rest just resemble oversized baby clothing sans feet.Originally posted by Ginger Tea View PostThe only onesies I've ever seen are of the novelty variety.
Primark has batman superman and perhaps Spiderman designs as well as the odd animal.
Local Folk festival had a stall selling animal ones, so its like we had a mini furry con happening between live music.

New trend that I hate.
Onesies. In public.
I have no problem with onesies being used in one's own home, but to wear them to the shops or out in public just....ugh. PLEASE FREAKING DIE ALREADY.

Where I come from, Uggs would die instantly. XD A couple years back, there was heavy snow and a girl round where I used to live was cretinous enough to wear her Uggs in it. They were ruined and she was still whining about that a week later when the snow melted. XD

Um, in Australia (where they come fromOriginally posted by Greenday View PostMight have been their original intent, but Uggs are just fancy boots now.
) they are still considered to be slippers and worn as such. They also work amazingly well when it's cold.

Especially since Uggs are pretty useless in the rain and snow; if they get soaking wet, they're ruined.

Probably said this before but I will say this again; Ugg boots and imitation Uggs. They just look like a couple of dead ferrets wrapped around a person's legs and look hideous when worn with shorts and bare legs. -.-

It is.Originally posted by Andara Bledin View PostThat's actually a pretty clear-cut case, right there.
If you let women in wearing such shoes, then you have to let men in wearing such shoes. Though, to be honest, it would probably be in everybody's best interests to just ban them outright.
^-.-^
