    Not all gain is in the form of monetary reward.

    Otherwise, we wouldn't have issues where CEOs have $1 salaries; they're getting value out of their position, just not in the form of liquid assets.

      But it needs to be treated the same. You are expected to be there on time just like a job. You are supposed to be prepared to work and have other work completed. If you don't there are consequences and could ultimately result in failing the class which is like being fired from a job.

      Just because it's school doesn't mean you can't treat it the same way that you would treat a job.
