Seriously if you don't like Justin Bieber then just change the fucking channel, just turn off the tv do any number of things. Noone is forcing you to listen to him.

And to everyone who said they wished he actually had cancer? fuck you.

There are songs that play over and over again at work that I despise but I have never wished cancer on the artist.

I agree about the really rash comments about Bieber. I think a lot of the hate from many people just stems from the thought that he's manufactured and hyped up by the media to make him into a teen idol. It's the same criticism that was made about The Monkees, N-SYNC, Britney Spears, and many other idols in past decades who succeeded not due to their own self-made talent, but due to agents and marketing experts who elevated his status into a pop star.

A lot of it is jealousy also. Regardless how he made his status (and no I don't think he has any real talent), he is now richer then a LOT of people at a very young age. He has hordes of attractive girls throwing themselves at him, and is on again/off again with an attractive female. So haters will hate. I am not a fan, but don't care enough about him to be against him either.

Color me ambivalent on Bieber, too.

I expect that most of the haters are jealous and/or bandwagoning. It's 'cool' to hate on Bieber, and they want so desperately to be cool.

I don't hate Justin Bieber. I hate Danny Elfman. Fucking super-talented musician, abandoning his touring band in order to go into the more lucrative and less stressful business of doing soundtrack music. How dare he choose to work on advancing his career and furthering the state-of-the-art of music, when he could be touring the world, playing the same dozen songs night after night!

I don't hate Justin Bieber. I just hate his music. Can't stand it. Will turn it off or change the channel or put on my own headphones or whatever.

It grates on my nerves. No I don't want him to die of cancer. That's a terrible thing. I don't want anything terrible to happen to him. Though I will laugh when funny shit happens (like him walking into glass doors,) but I do that to everyone even if I like them.

I will also tell people gushing over him to STFU, just like I tell people raging about him to STFU. Do it to the choir, don't do it to me.

I think he is a talentless hack, but I wouldnt wish death or pain on the guy(citation needed). I made fun of my nephew for having a beiberish haircut, but thats about the extent of it.

And in my defense, that cut looked really bad on my nephew.

Hate the music, have a semi grudging respect for the guy himself, since he seem's somewhat stand up.

Hope he moves out of pop and into something more meaningful with his life...once he has enough millions to satisfy him.

I hate how people bring him into ANY conversation, even if it's not even about music. Not that I should be reading them anyways, but almost every YouTube video has a comment on it about how whatever it is is SO much better than Bieber and 'thumbs up if u agree'.

I actually don't mind the kid so much since his voice changed, I actually like a couple of his newer songs And I do have to say, I gained a LOT of respect for him when I heard what he did for the little girl with cancer who became known as "Mrs. Bieber". He met her last Valentine's day and spent the entire day with her cooking cupcakes and stuff. Only look up that story if you have tissues handy.

I'm not a fan of his music, but the few bits of comedy he's done -- taking over Funny Or Die on April Fools day and impersonating Jon Stewart on the Daily Show -- were funny as hell.

I am not a fan of the artist but I certainly don't have the vile hatred a lot of people have towards him. Whenever I watch any genre of music video on Youtube, someone inevitably posts something like still better than Bieber.

Seriously if you hate an artist so much, why go out of your way to mention them?
