Logically, *somebody* has to be the lowest paid. Ideally, everyone's pay is both perfectly fair and secret. Practically, "perfectly fair" is going to have a good bit of subjectivity to it, and the one person guaranteed to be ticked at being on the bottom is the one whose job requires knowing it."My in-laws are country people and at night you can hear their distinctive howl."
