This scene.
When Pinkie started to cry, I really felt sorry for her. She was really at the end of her tether, and it put her in a much better light than her antics on "Luna Eclipsed".

I fully admit, at the end when the two littles ones were in bed and said her name, I made a noise that should have caused my man card to tear itself in half on the spot. =POriginally posted by Hyena Dandy View PostGod, that episode was the most adorable 22 minutes of my life.
It disappoints me to realize there is probably Pumpkin/Poundcakes twincest out there right now...
Well, I'll just pretend there isn't.

^Same here.
I love the fact that MLP is doing episodes that are centred round background characters like Granny Smith and the Cakes; it just makes it more interesting to see some of the other characters apart from the mane six in detail.

Loved the most recent episode of MLP; plus it starred Granny Smith who a friend of mine loves to see in episodes. XD

Sesame Street is another example. I can name a few that would most likely shoot RIGHT over the kids heads, but the adults would get them:Originally posted by Lace Neil Singer View PostThis exactly.
There are loads of shout outs tho, which adults can see and snicker over while it passes over the heads of children. XD Same goes for a lot of animated movies, like the Toy Story trilogy.
Old Spice Parody
True Blood Parody (complete with the Sookie muppet, the Bill muppet (as a "Grouch" instead of a vampire) and even a Lafayette parody
)
Law and Order: Special Victims Unit Parody (This one's a bit older)
A's Anatomy
And my personal favourite...
Hey There Delilah Parody

I love those. I never thought they were messed up. Maybe there is something wrong with me. i just thought they were sincere. The villains are villains. they do the same kind of atrocities real world villains do. instead of the vague "conquer the world/death ray that is never fired" trope.Originally posted by anakhouri View PostThat's just me though, I love Berserk and Blade of the Immortal too.
the one manga that has made me unconfortable enough to stop readin was Tokyo Akazuki. I am ok with the physical violence, but there is a sexual abuse secene that got too much for me.

Thank you thank you! Quoted for truth.Originally posted by Hyena Dandy View PostOne thing to keep in mind, though, is that MLP IS in fact directed at kids FIRST. Not only, but first. It's good, and aimed at children. Not good despite being aimed at children.

And very enthusiastic with that metal, very spiked baseball bat.Originally posted by fireheart17 View PostShe's MEANT to kill him, but instead decides to keep him occupied so he won't get the idea in the first place. However, she's a bit trigger happy.

Not so much sexually violent, but the anime I am about to display looks and sounds like a magical girl anime...
Ladies and gentleman, I give you Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan
It LOOKS like a kiddie cartoon, but is anything but. Basically she's trying to prevent him from defying God by building a machine in the future that forces all women to stop aging at the age of 12. She's MEANT to kill him, but instead decides to keep him occupied so he won't get the idea in the first place. However, she's a bit trigger happy.
The opening LOOKS innocent, up until you get to the point where she starts aying that she'll beat the crap out of you and be a cocktease
