    I currently hate:

People on CS who misspell Nunavut when referring to GK's posts. It's NUN-A-VUT! It's a proper name, a Canadian territory, and actually a pretty cool place. Take the time to spell it right, please! (By the way, wanna see something really cool? Their native written language is very neat! Check it out!)

The bus system in my city. I understand it might not be cost effective to run more than one bus an hour in off-peak times in the evening/night, but it makes it so damn hard to plan my evening shifts. You suck, city. Get bigger, have more people in it, and maybe the transit authority might actually start running enough buses!

    Man, WTF, right?

You couldn't FIND those oversize peasant tops that were going at MegaloMart this summer for 15 bucks a week before Pennsic because all the SCA chicks bought them up. I got one...but ONLY one.

And like everyone else, had to pull the elastic out of the bottom of it.

Okay. I particularly hate tailgaters, especially the kind that can clearly see that you have a truck right in front of you going the exact same speed.

I hate people who think it's reasonable to ask a 46 year old woman when she's having another baby.

I hate people who mispronounce my married name, which is extremely easy to NOT fuck up.

    I hate Amway.

    I hate time share salemen.

Oh, and how could I forget how much I hate it when people invite me to "parties" that are actually chances to hold me captive in your home while you hardsell me some shit? I never go...never got roped into that, I can smell horseshit from a distance. However people who do this are Tacky. Tell you what...I'll just ignore the invitation and we'll both never speak of it again.

I hate when people don't freakin' watch where they are going, especially when pushing a damn grocery cart!

I also hate the shopping center I work in. My poor car has sustained more damage within 1 year from the inconsiderate assholes who fling their doors open into mine than in 8 years of driving back and forth to the northern boundaries of my state.

Lately, I also feel like I talk to walls. I am very clear when I make my sales in what my store's return policy is. Can a single customer follow this policy? Is there one single, solitary person on this planet I don't have to make 19 exceptions for? If the policy is 14 days, why am I forced to take returns after 30? and why oh fucking why do people cut out and mail their rebates or throw the boxes out for their phones and then get pissed when we can't take it back or charge a restocking fee? Fucking seriously???

When friends get all bloody minded about having to go outside to smoke. I will say this once more, so you can understand, "The LANDLORD, the guy who fucking OWNS THE FLAT that I rent, does not want people smoking in HIS FUCKING FLAT. So, want to smoke? Then, we go outside."

Jeez. -.- I have a fucking porch, we're not going to get wet.

I hate moving. I dread moving. Cannot stand moving. Anyone who tries to put a happy spin on moving is looking to be bunched in the left kidney.

    Things I hate:

Men that hit on me, even after I tell them I only like women. Apparently, I need to be my true self.

When I'm asleep and someone needs help with their computer. They know I go to bed pretty early, typically (10pm) due to my shift at work.

People that will text me nonstop after I tell them I'm in bed. (Save for my girlfriend, she's allowed)

When people ask for my advice and then do exactly opposite of what I tell them and get mad when it doesn't work out.

When I was trying to figure on the 5x5x5 Rubik's cube, I'd set it down to do something and someone would always come up and mess around with it since it wasn't solved. "No shit it's not solved, I'm working on it, fool!" (Feel free to mess up my 5x5x5 anytime, I got it)

People who shorten words to make them unrecognizable to anyone but them in a text message. I usually follow up with "??" and they have to spell out the word anyway. Just spell it out. I use capitalization, full words and punctuation in my texts. Poorly, but they're there.

I hate packing and moving, and people who tell me it should be "an exciting opportunity" can jump in the river. Yeah, it was exciting once or twice. But in the past year, I have been intimately involved with ten moves (all within my immediate family, and all but one within the city) and I am getting sick and freaking tired of it! It's no longer exciting and a fresh start. It's dusty, tedious, back-breaking work.

All right, then. DrFaroohk seems intent on derailing the thread, so you all might as well have at it.

but its not just a "mocking tone". its a thick, drawled, slurred, seriously impaired voice that you might hear from someone with mental disabilities.

Or maybe you need to learn what bits of language can offend the majority and be a bit more sensitive about it. Your sentence would have been just fine without that qualifier. "Mocking tone" would have worked to get your point across, no problem.

i hate it when someone mumbles a lot, and you ask what, and they get upset with you. gee whiz why not try acting like you were actually born this country.

or this one really irks me - i believe people who do this deserve to die:

"la bloo moddle moddle glark nor"

    "huh?"

    <mocking mentally challenged tone> "HUH????"

    Is that better?

We don't tend to crack down on language much around here, but you need to understand how offensive it is to use the word "retard" the way you are here. Doing an impression of mentally-challenged people (by doing the "the voice") is not going to go over well, even with people who don't mind the decontextualized use of "retarded". I'd choose another way of expressing your thoughts if I were you.

I see where you were going with this, but this gets a bit personal. Watch for that please.

DrFaroohk's unfortunate choice of language is not the point of his post. So let's drop it and move on. Thanks.

I believe people who use retard in a derogatory way deserve to die. You don't like that people have differences, then move to the desert and live by yourself as a hermit.
