I can't wear skinny jeans (since I'm not, y'know, skinny), and you can't tuck boot cut jeans into boots to save your life.

God I hate hipsters.
If I may add something else, and this will probably tick some people off - Corsets. Outside of a Ren Faire, where you're going for historical accuracy - why????? I've worn one, for a show, designed and built to 18th century standards, and it is the single most uncomfortable garment I've ever put on. You get flushed in the face and chest and your legs get cold, because your blood supply is being cut off! Not to mention, can't sit down easily, can't take deep breaths, and your breasts could be used to rest a glass of water. Another girl in the same show passed out because hers was too tight. They aren't fashion, they're torture devices and we should all celebrate the fact that we don't have to wear them anymore!
/soapbox

Why would you do that?
.
It's impossible to find a plus-sized dress shirt that isn't cut to the navel. It's worse if you aren't Parton-esque, then you have to worry about moving wrong and exposing yourself. You shouldn't have to wear a camisole under everything; designers, get your heads out of your asses and design plus-sized tops that button up all the way!!!
