Just because you are fine with something it doesn't mean cops or those who have cops as loved ones agree with the term or can't find it offensive. If somebody calls you a certain name while threatening or attempting to kill you then you probably wouldn't like being called that name

Now you're reaching. I never said cops couldn't take offense at being called a 'pig' or having the 'bacon' thing uttered.

I'm actually pretty good friends with a number of officers, several of which just laugh when part of the group oinks at them.

It's also a huge difference between uttering these words in jest when a cop if following, and screaming the word 'PIG' whilst brandishing a weapon and attempting to kill an officer.

I respect (most) law enforcement. But even I have been known to utter "Mmmmm, I smell bacon" when a cop is following me. Does this mean I want to kill cops? No. It certainly does not.

"Piggies" was used in particular to justify attacks on the White establishment, with the lyrics "what they need's a damn good whacking" reflecting the attacks on Blacks in what Manson envisioned would be an apocalyptic race war. During the murders of Sharon Tate, Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, Gary Hinman and others, the words 'political piggy', 'pig' and 'death to pigs' were written with the victims' blood on the walls. In the case of the LaBianca murders, knives and forks were actually inserted into the victims in reference to the lyric "Clutching forks and knives to eat their bacon".

I don't care what they did, thats a horrible thing to refer to the police by. Its like if a gay person does something bad and calling him a fag, or a black person a nigger. Its simply not apropriate.
