Ok the movie spoofs can have their times when they are amusing. I loved Scary Movie, it was funny. However, then you have things like...
Epic Movie - The only think epic about it was how epically bad it was.
Disaster Movie - The title is correct, it was a disaster.
If you are going to make movie spoofs, randomly throwing in movies that have nothing to do with the title is just not funny. Now again..they could be big disasters as movies..but they should also .. I don't know..be about actual disasters maybe?
Juno, Iron Man, Hulk, Alvin and the chipmonks, bat man..ugh Disaster movie might be one of the alltime worst movies EVER. Not funny (at all), and makes about as much sense as Glumphing a glort.
Whoever is making these movies should be tied down to a chair and made to actually watch these movies..cause that is the worst torture I can think of.

Oh god yes. My inner geek just screams at the rending of canon... I mean, the animated series of the 90s managed to pull off The Phoenix Saga perfectly, on a miniscule budget. You'd think a movie with a huge budget would be able to do likewise, but no.Originally posted by Fire_on_High View PostX-Men 3...sorry, just no. Hated how the characters were handled.
Also, Spiderman 3. That totally sucked. They RUINED Venom! -.-

X-Men 3...sorry, just no. Hated how the characters were handled.
Highlander: The Source....another one that just stank up the place. At least a few of the lines were good for laughs. No spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it and still wants to be surprised, but the very last line (iirc, anyway)...half hilariously funny, and half "You really seriously just stomped canon flat...".

Since we were kicked out of our lab today, I went to the movie theater. 21 was supposed to be playing but they had Wind Chill on instead. That movie blew. It wasn't scary at all. It made literally no sense.

Yikes, how could I forget to list Big Momma or Madea? What was I thinking?
RV. I love Robin Williams, but ugh that movie needed to DIAF, then have the ashes spread across the world just to be on the safe side. Like Nightmare on ElmStreet : New Nightmare. Again..big fan of Freddy, but UGH. Ok so each sequel went down hill a LITTLE, but that one..I don't think a bottomless pit could explain how far it fell.
Leprechaun : In space or In da Hood especially. *winces*.
Chronicles of Riddick (spelling?) The character was awesome in Pitch Black..then they had to go and ruin it by making this movie.
95% of all remakes. Though there have been exceptions.
(I know a lot of people will disagree here) Charley and the Chocolate Factory (yes I know..remake which fits in the above, but this one deserves special notice). No clue what people see in this one, it was horrid.
Hmmm more to come..eventually.

Eh, I'd still watch it over 3/4 of the crappy comedies they put out lately. It's the title. That is the most generic title possible. >.>
Ohh, I remembered I hate hate hate any of the Big Momma's House movies. Dumbest crap ever.

I didn't find this one quite as so bad its good.Oh man, I completely forgot about that series. Those were awful, but it was "so awful its good" territory. I'm not sure I saw the third one though.
I mean really..."WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!"

I can't believe I forgot about this one! Actually, yes I can because I've been trying my damndest since watching that piece of horse puckey to forget that I ever saw it. Even Riff Trax couldn't make up for the complete lack of anything good about that film/TV movie/monstrosity. The best part about it when I saw it was seeing the original commercials in there from the 70s... that's sad.Originally posted by Rapscallion View PostStar Wars Christmas Edition, whatever it's called. I've seen little chunks. Apparently Lucas disowns it.

That reminds me of the star wars holiday special. Just the clips of his review were torture to sit through. Worst piece of shit ever made.Originally posted by Hyena Dandy View PostGarbage Pail Kids (UGH! I can't even sit through The Nostalgia Critic REVIEWING this thing!)
Also Junior was pretty bad. The plot, Arnold Schwarzenegger gets pregnant. I'm not kidding, that's the plot. To quote another internet reviewer,
"WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!"

It is amazingly bad. It defies all comprehension. Especially Chewie's family. ><Originally posted by RapscallionStar Wars Christmas Edition, whatever it's called. I've seen little chunks. Apparently Lucas disowns it.

The Room (It honestly scares me that someone actually shot, cut, and printed the movie, and came away from it thinking "Yeah, that was a success.")
Succubus (This movie can't decide if it wants to be sexy or scary, and eventually decides on just being stupid)
Incubus (I don't know why this movie is called Incubus. Its not about an Incubus. Its about a serial killer. He doesn't even call himself Incubus)
Garbage Pail Kids (UGH! I can't even sit through The Nostalgia Critic REVIEWING this thing!)
Carnasaur 3 (The only movie I've spent the whole time not quite sure who the main character is. Not as in "who are the good guys" or "Who should I root for" but honestly "Who is the character this movie is following?)
That's my list of worst movies I've seen.
Honestly, everything else mentioned I can sort of see the appeal in. Not ONE of the movies I have mentioned I can see anyone enjoying, EVEN on "terrible movie" appeal.
Well, okay. Carnasaur 3

I didn't mind it until the Twist Ending(tm). He really has to stop that. If he wants a real twist ending, ditch the twist ending, that'll fark with the critics. In the meantime, everything he's made since Six Sense has been groan worthy because of his insistence of trying to pull off another twist ending.Originally posted by Boozy View PostI liked The Village, too.
You can't pull off a twist ending when everyone watching your movie knows its coming because its your only defining feature as a director. >.>
